Independent platform specialist

I make large content and commerce platforms behave.

Twelve years inside enterprise CMS and catalog systems — AEM, SAP Hybris, SAP Commerce. Requirements through delivery through to what Google actually sees. I work as the specialist your team brings in: white-label, async, no client-facing hours.

Services

Three problems I get called for.

01

Your catalog changes every week. Google is still indexing last year's SKUs.

Hidden and discontinued products leave dead URLs in sitemaps, internal links pointing nowhere, and redirects dumped on the homepage that read as soft 404s. I map every dead URL to a successor SKU or a clean 410, then strip the residual links that caused the problem in the first place.

You get
  • Crawl, Search Console and catalog diff
  • Developer-ready redirect map (CSV)
  • Sitemap and internal-link fix list
Fixed price, scoped per catalog
02

The replatform is scheduled. Nobody has mapped the URLs.

AEM Cloud Service moves and Hybris replatforms change URLs at a scale nobody audits until traffic drops in week three. I inventory what exists, build the redirect map against the new structure before launch, and check parity the week after go-live.

You get
  • Pre-launch URL inventory
  • Redirect map and QA checklist
  • Post-launch parity and recovery report
Fixed price, scoped per migration
03

The people who built the platform have left.

A structured documentation set reconstructed from the code, the tickets and whatever survives in Confluence: systems, integrations, data ownership, business flows, runbooks, and an honest register of gaps and risks — with automated checks that stop it rotting the month after I leave.

You get
  • Versioned documentation repository
  • Integration and data-ownership maps
  • Consistency, link and freshness checks
Fixed price, scoped per platform

White-label

Deliverables carry your brand and your template. I don't appear in front of your client unless you want me to.

Async by default

Written deliverables and a shared board. No standing calls, no status meetings to sit through.

NDA-friendly

Client names stay out of my portfolio. Samples are anonymised or built on public sites.

One paragraph about the platform and the problem is enough to get a scoped answer and a price back in writing.
